Discover the amazing city of Milan on our city tour: history, culture and fashion. In the morning we explore with an official city guide then you have free time to see the sights in depth or hit the shops of one of the world's big four fashion capitals.
We meet our milan city guide at the Monumental Cemetery which houses a wide range of modern and classical Italian sculptures, Greek temples and obelisks. Famous people laid to rest at the cemetery include two Grand Prix drivers, artists, composers, writers and Nobel prize winners.
The Sforza Castle is our next stop. The castle was built by the Viscontis and was the former seat of one of Europe’s leading courts of the Renaissance. After visiting the castle complex we carry on to the heart of the city: the Piazza del Duomo.
When we arrive in the centre we'll pass by the world famous La Scala opera theatre and walk through the elegant belle epoque, glass-roofed Galleria Vittorio Emanuele before reaching the breathtaking Duomo.
The Duomo is Italy's largest gothic building and is an intricate collection of spires and turrets. Inside you will find the Holy Nail and stained glass windows dating back to the 14th century.
During your free time you can explore the city even more: visit the costume museum at La Scala, head up to the roof terraces of the Duomo, revisit the castle to see the Rondanini Pietà by Michelangelo or hit the shops in Corso Vittorio Emanuele or even Via Montenapoleone!
